One of my favourite projects this year has been working with young director Lenny Flohr on his film “Wolkenkuckucksheim” (literally “cloud cuckoo land”, or “never never land”).
I play Gitta, a frustrated, nosy and catty neighbour in this fascinating study of suburban life, where dreams and reality clash in the most poetic way…stay tuned! :)

Delighted to have been a guest on this German podcast hosted by BFFS, the German Actors Union. Wow - what a lovely chat! I spoke with my wonderful actor colleague Ariana Gansuh about all things intimacy coordination: why it exists, why it’s SO important for actors, directors, and the entire crew; and of course, what it is we actually do as intimacy coordinator! ;-)

#CoVid19 update: my last project before the March lockdown was a sweet little part in this eerily prescient thriller series, which deals with a deadly virus outbreak on an island in the North Sea….while the series was shot way before the current Corona pandemic, it’s timing is truly uncanny.
In March, I went into the studio to record the small, but vital part of a newsreader - you know, the one that’s keeping everyone informed about infection rates, symptoms, safety measures….and everything else that needs reporting during a virus outbreak.
It felt strange recording something fictitious, while the “real thing” was happening outside as I was recording….and it felt crucial to do this. My thanks go to the entire production team, who were a pure delight and joy to work with.

From the “Blaue Blume” Award, to movie premieres, to exciting, thought-provoking series panels, this Berlinale has been amazing, and such a gift to me as an actress, screenwriter - and now also intimacy coordinator!

What a JOY: combining my two passions, nay….missions, in this life - acting and boxing.
Directed by the amazing JOHN HILLCOAT, I played the boxing trainer opposite German boxing champ ZEINA NASSAR, a true role-model for girls and women world-wide.
Zeina single-handedly changed the rules of the game and the face of boxing, so as to allow every woman to compete in the boxing ring. Amazing!

With Harvey Weinstein’s trial starting in January 2020, one can definitely feel a change within our industry - and over here in Germany, people are starting to take notice of this “new thing” called Intimacy Coordination - and the fascinating new profession of the Intimacy Coordinator.
I am both proud and humbled to be able to share this important, powerful practice, and its Intimacy Guidelines (develped by Ita O’Brien and Intimacy on Set) - in the context of the Weinstein trial, I have been interviewed by several media outlets, including Bayrischer Rundfunk, Das Ding, SWR, and Edition F.
